Dubai Camel Ride – Traditional Desert Experience
A camel ride is one of the most authentic ways to experience the Arabian desert. The Dubai Camel Ride gives visitors an opportunity to enjoy the calm desert environment, traditional camel travel and beautiful views away from the busy city.
The experience is available for AED 250 per person. Whether you are visiting Dubai as a couple, travelling with children, enjoying a holiday with friends or arranging an activity for a larger group, camel riding is an easy way to add a traditional desert experience to your Dubai itinerary.
What to Expect on Your Camel Ride
After reaching the desert meeting location, the team will guide you to the camel riding area. Before the ride begins, basic instructions will be provided for getting on, sitting safely and getting off the camel.
Once seated, you can enjoy the distinctive slow movement of the camel while taking in the surrounding desert landscape. The experience is designed to be relaxed rather than rushed, giving you time to enjoy the scenery and capture photographs.
Camel riding has been an important part of desert life in the Arabian Peninsula for generations. Today it remains one of the most popular traditional activities for visitors who want to experience an element of local desert culture.
Dubai Camel Ride Price
The camel ride costs AED 250 per person. The price is calculated according to the total number of guests taking part in the camel riding experience.
Transportation is not automatically included in the AED 250 per-person price. Guests who already have their own vehicle may travel directly to the confirmed desert meeting point.
Optional Private Transport
If you require pickup and drop-off, private transport can be arranged for AED 300 per car. Each private car can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests.
The number of cars required is calculated automatically according to the total number of guests. For example, 1 to 6 guests require one car, 7 to 12 guests require two cars, and 13 to 18 guests require three cars.
The transport calculation follows this rule: number of cars = total guests divided by 6, rounded up to the next whole car.
Who Is This Experience Suitable For?
The Dubai Camel Ride is suitable for visitors looking for a traditional desert experience without necessarily booking a complete evening safari. It is particularly suitable for guests who want a shorter desert activity or who wish to combine camel riding with another Dubai desert attraction.
Couples can enjoy a quiet desert experience, families can introduce children to traditional camel riding, and groups can book together. Guests who would like more desert activities can also combine their trip with a Desert Buggy Dubai experience or explore the Morning Desert Safari Dubai.
Why Book a Camel Ride in Dubai?
Camel riding offers something very different from fast desert activities such as dune bashing, quad biking or buggy driving. The pace is slower and gives visitors an opportunity to appreciate the scale, quietness and scenery of the desert.
It is also one of the most recognizable traditional experiences associated with the UAE desert. For many first-time visitors, riding a camel becomes one of the memorable highlights of their Dubai holiday.
